The Olympic Flame will be "born" again in the sacred land of Ancient Olympia on April 16, 2024, this time for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
This was announced at the joint press conference between the Organizing Committee of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games and the Hellenic Olympic Committee for the announcement of the dates of the Flame Ceremonies held today in Paris.
The delivery of the Olympic Flame to the French delegation will take place on April 26, 2024 at the Panathenaic Stadium and the Torch Relay on Greek soil will last 11 days in total, with over 550 torchbearers carrying the Olympic Flame throughout Greece. The Olympic Flame will then be transported to France on the sailing ship Belem.
