In Kefalonia the international table tennis tournament for athletes with disabilities

For the second year, Kefalonia will host an important international table tennis tournament for athletes with disabilities. It's only been seven months since 1^ο-in our country- event and the capital of the Ionian Islands is ready to host the 2^οInternational Open, which will take place from Friday 28 April to Sunday 30 of the month, in Argostoli, at the indoor gym "Antonis Tritsis" and will be the 5^οin the 2023 edition of the International Federation's (ITTF) Para Events.

The registrations reached about 130, which together with the coaches and escorts, the visitors to the island will be around 200 and come from 20 countries of the world. The organizer is the National Sports Federation of People with Disabilities (E.A.OM.-A.ME.A.) in cooperation with the Hellenic Table Tennis Federation (EFOEPA), the municipality of Kefalonia, the Regional Unit of Kefalonia and Ithaca as well as the local A.S.E.A. Kefalonia and Ithaca.
The 130 statements at the ITTF Fa 20 Greek Para Open 2023, as titled internationally, are divided into 95 men and 35 women. Also, 36 athletes are from the wheelchair categories and 94 from the standing categories. The tournament includes the singles and doubles events.
