To the Olympic chorographer Artemis Ignatiou, the award 'Dimitiros Vikelas'

The Greek Olympic Committee decided as awarded the Excellence ' Demetrius Vikelas ' for the year 2019, at the choreographer of Olympic flame ceremonies for years, Artemis Ignatiou. This decision was taken in recognition of Ignatios for its invaluable contribution to the Greek sport and the Olympic movement.

The award was instituted by the NAIS in 2017 and is awarded each year to a woman and a man for their contribution to the Olympic movement. This year's award will take place on Thursday 23 January at 19.00 at the amphitheater of the Greek Olympic Committee.
