The Region of the Western Greece in cooperation with the sporting clubs Olympionikis of Ancient Olympia, Korivos Amaliadas and AGE of Pirgos and with the support of the municipalities of Elis, Pyrgos and Ancient Olympia and the Club of the Runners of Athens, organizes on Sunday March 27, the Marathon Race of Olympia.
The aim of the event is to provide an opportunity to the runners of our country and abroad to compete in the marathon race at the place which the Olympic Spirit was born. Furthermore, they will be provided cultural and other events, in order to promote the region of Ilia at all levels.
