World champion is the Greek junior Dimitra Papadopoulou in Paralympic Boccia!

Dimitra Papadopoulou, having ramp operator George Papadopoulos, won the gold medal in the individual BC3 and was crowned world champion!
She started her effort in Group 2 where she made it 2/2 by beating Brazilian Luisa da Silva and home team Ana Laura Ferreira 9-0 and 7-3 respectively.
She qualified for the semifinals where she was called upon to face China's Yan Jia Yi, whom she also beat 3-2, in the most difficult game of the day. In the final it was simple for Papadopoulou, who easily prevailed 6-1 over Luisa da Silva and was crowned world champion.
