Very good performances for the Greek Paralympic champions at the Boccia World Championships

In the men's BC1, Panagiotis Soulanis took 6th place in the event. After his 6-0 victory over Japan's Takumi Nakamura, which brought him to the "8th place", he faced Portugal's Andre Ramos, but failed to make it to the semifinals as he lost 8-1. He was eventually ranked 6th, as he reached undefeated in the 8th place.
In the women's BC3 category, Anna Deda with ramp operator Christina Deda, failed to make it to the semifinals. The Greek champion finally took the 6th place, which is the best, she has taken in a world championship.
Yesterday he played twice, in a few hours, as after the round of "16", which faced Stefania Ferrado, from Argentina prevailed 3-2 and moved to the best "8" of the competition. Her opponent was Wen Kay Ho of Hong Kong, with the Chinese woman eventually winning 4-1 and stopping the Greek woman's path to the medals.
Grigoris Polychronidis, in the men's category, with ramp operator Katerina Patroni did not manage to make it to the 8th round of the tournament, was defeated by Poland's Damian Iskrzyski, 5-1 and will not have the opportunity to defend his title.
