A touching life story that gives hope to people with Down syndrome is evolving in Thessaloniki. Dimitris' joy was very great. Having been trained in the previous days as a barista by the coffee company MOAK, today he put on his apron, sat in his post and made with a lot of passion and love, coffees for the customers of a patisserie in Tsimiski, Thessaloniki. Next to him, Christina, the patisserie clerk, guided him and reminded him of the basic details with him unable to hide how happy he was.
Dimitris, Lena and Natasha, who got a job today in three different cafes in the city, managed to complete the seminars of the company MOAK and can now stand behind the counter and make coffee. This is a beautiful initiative of the Down Syndrome Association of Greece, in collaboration with the coffee company MOAK in view of the International Day of People with Disabilities, on December 3rd.
