The Hellenic Paralympic Committee is pleased to announce the undertaking of the Boccia World Challenger 2023 in Greece.
After the submission of a very complete claim file, in a coordinated effort and with the support of the Deputy Minister of Sports Mr. Lefteris Avgenakis, of the Region of Crete and the Municipality of Heraklion, our country was selected, by the World Federation of the Sport (Bisfed), among the files claimed by other countries, to receive the rights to host him. 2023 World Boccia Challenger.
This event will take place in Heraklion, Crete, from 20 to 28 October and will be the top event in Greece for this sport, after the Paralympic Games "ATHENS 2004."
This is a great sporting event that will contribute to the strengthening of the sports and tourist identity of our country and through this top event it is proved that Greece is capable of hosting major international sporting events, in which great and renowned athletes of Botsias from all over the world take part.
