The President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee Spyros Capralos visited the Greek team at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Banska Bistrica, Slovakia. He was welcomed by The Head of Mission Thomas Tokas and the HOC President congratulated all the boys and girls of the mission for their excellent performances at the event. He had a special conversation with Evina Panagiotou and Giannis Gartsios who won the two gold medals for Greece so far in the event.
"You have made us proud, not only with your competitive appearance but also with your general presence here in Slovakia, in an event that participates in the future of European sport. You proved that you are extraordinary talents and I am sure that the future belongs to you and you will bring many distinctions to our country. I also thank the Head of Mission Thomas Tokas for the impeccable organization of this mission", said Mr. Capralos, who attends the Games in his capacity as President of the European Olympic Committees.
