Award of the Kallimarmaro Stadium for its new lighting!

A new important recognition for the Panathenaic Stadium as the renewal of its lighting, which took place after the actions of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, won the Casambi Award for best work for 2022.
The Best Project award this year was received by the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens for the wireless lighting system which was implemented in order to highlight the historical monument, but also to reduce the environmental footprint.
The Casambi Awards were created to award the best architectural lighting designers for innovative ideas and innovative ways in which lighting projects and products develop and leverage Casambi technology to create an impressive result.
The inauguration of the renewed lighting of the Panathenaic Stadium was held on March 29, 2021 by the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach in a small but symbolic ceremony attended by the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou and the President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee Spyros Capralos.
