New representative of Weightlifting in the Hellenic Olympic Committee

The Special Secretary of the Hellenic Weightlifting Federation, Fotis Kafmenakis, will be the representative of the sport in the plenary session of the Hellenic Olympic Committee, following the resignation of Pyrros Dimas.

Mr. Kafmenakis at the General Assembly of EOAB won the positive vote of the unions at a rate of 87%. Mrs. Theano Zagkliveri was elected as an alternate member of EOAB in the HOC.

The new representative of weightlifting in the Hellenic Olympic Committee has 35 years of involvement with the administration of sports and has received many honorary awards with a special one that of the Honorary Citizen of the city of Nanjing, China.
