The Greek mission for the World Athletics Championships for the Deaf

For Lublin, Poland, the mission of the E.A.C.A. departed, to compete in the 4thο World Athletics Championships for the Deaf. The Championship will be held from 23 to 25 August, an event that both our athletes and athletes all over the world have been waiting for for a long time, since due to the pandemic of the new Sars-Cov-2, they had been left out of racing competitions for a long time.

Accompanied by: Ioannis Stoufis as head of mission and Vassilis Kapsalidis as track and field manager of the Hellenic Federation of Sports for the Deaf, the athletes will attend the 4thο World Athletics Championships for the Deaf and specifically for claiming a medal in the following events:

Ilias Katerinopoulos, 1,000 and 5,000 meters,

Athens Pavlkowski in the 100m and 200m,

as well as Nicoletta Chioni in the high jump.
