The General Secretary of the EGTC Manolis Kolymbadis represented the Hellenic Olympic Committee at the unveiling ceremony of the bust of the Olympic shooting champion Pantelis Karaseddas in Astakos, Aitoloakarnania. The beautiful event was also attended by the President of the Association of Participants in the Olympic Games Voula Kozomboli and the Olympic champion Pyrros Dimas.
Pantelis Karasedvas on March 28, 1896 won the gold medal in the first modern Olympic Games at the Kallimarmaro Stadium, collecting 2,350 points in shooting. He later served as a member of the Olympic Games Committee from 1924 to 1935, as well as chairman of Panathinaikos and the Panhellenic GaD.
