Cyprus' cooperation with the European Olympic Committees

The European Olympic Committee (EOC), in cooperation with the National Olympic Committees of Europe, is proceeding with the creation and formulation of the "Strategic Agenda 2030", implementing a decision of the General Assembly last November.
In this context, the Secretary General of the CO, Mr. Andreas Georgiou, together with the CO Officer Giorgos Korellis, participated on Tuesday, April 20th, in an online meeting with representatives of the EOC, in which the proposals and objectives of the Cyprus Olympic Committee for the next decade were submitted, so that, among other things, the European Olympic Committee could help implement them, through the "Strategic Agenda 2030".
The meeting concerned the second stage of implementation of the ambitious programme, following the MET's reply to a questionnaire sent by the EOC to all the National Olympic Committees (EEEs). The questionnaire was drawn up to provide an opportunity to present views on the current position of the European Olympic Movement ('where are we today?'), and to allow each National Commission to define its priority areas for the future ('where do we want to go?').
