On the island of Roses was found the Hellenic Federation of Sports of the Deaf where it received a very warm hospitality. On the occasion of the claim of the Pan-European Deaf Men's and Women's Tennis Championship for the summer of 2021, a mission of the Hellenic Federation of Deaf Sports consisting of the Secretary General of the EDAC, Mr. Takis Kordonouris, and the head of the press & communication office, Mr. Esta Razou, carried out an autopsy on the sports tennis facilities of the ROA (Rodian Tennis Club) in the presence of the President of the ROA, Mr. Michalis Panagou. The inspection was carried out by the President of the European Deaf Sports Organisation (EDSO) Mr Joseph Stavrakakis.
During this two-day mission, the mission held meetings with the Vice-Regional Director of Sport of the South-East Aegean, Mr. Nikos Nikolis, as well as with the Deputy Mayor of Culture & Sport, Mr. Alexandros Koliadis. The atmosphere seems to be a good thing for the championship, which will bring Rhodes to the fore with such a wide-scale event as the European Championship for The Deaf Men and Women.
