The Stoiximan actively supports the International Olympic Academy

The International Olympic Academy takes great pleasure in announcing its collaboration with Stoiximan, a company that tangibly supports the implementation of the action plan to promote the Olympic Movement for 2016-2017.

Since its establishment in 1961, the International Olympic Academy constitutes the most important institution in the development and dissemination of the Olympic Movement. The IOA engages in initiatives to preserve the principles and propagate the philosophy of Olympism and its Values through educational and training activities. Moreover, it hosts international Sessions on world peace, International Relations and other scientific topics in view of examining the influence of Olympism on the modern world.

Ioannis Spanoudakis, member of the BoD. of Stoiximan, highlighted these facets of the Academy’s work, announcing that the company would support the International Olympic Academy: “It is a great honour for Stoiximan to collaborate and support the International Olympic Academy, contributing to the valuable work that the Academy has done over the past 55 years, in communicating and amplifying the contributions of Olympism to mankind. By supporting the IOA, we are once more making good on our commitment to reinforce sports on all levels, in tandem with supporting Greek sports. We are partners in the noble values of Olympism, as in our view their implementation is greatly needed – especially in our times”.
