The National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Serbia, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs and the City Assembly organised a reception for their Paralympians who brought home nine medals from the Rio 2016 Games. In front of the City Assembly in Belgrade, citizens gathered and greeted their Paralympians with music and thunderous applause.
After the Paralympians’ speeches, popular Belgrade rap group THC performed the national anthem for the Paralympic team "Champions every day," heating up the festive atmosphere. Dejan Petrovic’s orchestra "Big Band" also raised the atmosphere and mood of everyone present.
