The world I live in... The world I am. Photo exhibition with works by adults with intellectual disabilities in Thessaloniki

Works by adults with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, who participated in the photo competition on "The world I live in... the world I am", are presented in an exhibition that will be hosted at the Library of the University of Macedonia.

The competition and the photo exhibition are organized by the International Festival "Reflection of disability in art" (iRoDi), which as an institution of the University of Macedonia and as a unit for the Support of Social Inclusion through Art of the Laboratory of Applications of Educational and Social Inclusion of People with Learning and Adaptation Difficulties (EKOIS), of the Department of Educational and Social Policy, He proceeded with these artistic initiatives.

The action is implemented in collaboration with the Down Association of Greece and the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Autistic People (Thessaloniki Branch) and offers an opportunity to express the creativity of disabled people through Art.

The photo exhibition, which will open next Saturday, May 6 at 10 am, as part of a workshop entitled "From independence to interdependence: a new perspective", presents 32 works. On the occasion of the opening, prizes will be awarded to the winners of the competition.
