Renaming of an indoor gym in Ilioupoli in honor of the Paralympic champion Giannis Kostakis

In honor of the Paralympian Giannis Kostakis, the Municipality of Ilioupoli in a glorious event, gave its name to the First Indoor Gym of Ilioupoli.

In the presence of the General Secretary of Sports George Mavrotas, and many representatives of the state and political Authority, the Mayor of Ilioupoli George Hatzidakis held the ceremony of naming the First Indoor Gym of Ilioupoli, in honor of the two-time Paralympic champion awarded in the celebration of the top of the PSAT, as a top athlete with Disabilities.

Eaom-People with Disabilities was represented by the superintendent of sports VIRTUS Emmanuel Markides, who in his short greeting congratulated the Municipality of Ilioupoli for this initiative and stressed: "It would be good for other Municipalities to follow the example of Ilioupoli because this is how they honor children, athletes. Congratulations to our athlete Giannis Kostakis for both his ethos and his athletic performance. On his face it's like honoring all the Paralympians."
