Three Greek athletes at the World Paralympic Judo Championships in Baku

With three athletes, our country will take part in the World Judo Championships in Baku. Our national team of athletes with blindness and visual impairments is already in the capital of Azerbaijan, to participate in the event, which will give world ranking points, ahead of the Paralympic Games, in Paris in 2024.

At the disposal of the federal coach Stavros Stragalis are the athletes, Theodora Paschalidou (AST Hephaestus), Theoklitos Papachristos (A.S. Torch) and Emmanuella Masourou (AS Keravnos). The matches will be held according to the rules of the IBSA, IJR and IJF, with a double repechage and robin round system (all with all), with a duration of 4 minutes per match.

The World Championships take place from 4 to 11 November, at the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Concert Complex in Baku, and from the 11th to the 15th of the month will be held at the same venue and training camp.
