Two Greek medals at the Paralympic World Boccia Challenger

Two silver medals were the Greek record in the singles of the Veldhoven 2022 World Boccia Challenger hosted in the Netherlands. They were won by Fotini Bousiou in the BC4 category and Panagiotis Soulanis in BC1.
In the group stage, Busiu had a win in two matches, and then defeated Sarah Aller Mayo (Spain) 6-1 and Narmin Aghayeva (Azerbaijan) 6-2. In the final they lost 8-2 to Brazilian Josiane Batista da Silva, taking second place.
Soulanis also had a win and a loss in the group stage, but reached the final with two consecutive wins, namely over Czech Roman Sajdak (11-3) and Omar Hayward of Bermuda (5-2). In the race for gold, the Greek champion was defeated 4-1 by the Dutchman Daniel Pérez winning the silver medal
