Excellent performance for the Greek team in the Olympic Games for the Deaf, as they received nine (9) medals.
At the previous 2017 Olympics in Samsun, Greece had won five medals in total. The national basketball team of Deaf women that won the gold medal, Alexandros Papadatos, two medals, one gold in the 130k Greco-Roman. and one silver at 125k. in free wrestling and two bronzes pavlos Liotsos, -58k. and Maria Fouledaki -67kg, respectively.
