The Hellenic Open University and the Hellenic Olympic Committee (E.O.E.) signed the renewal of the Protocol of Cooperation, in the context of the successful cooperation between the two sides.
The E.O.E. was represented by the President Spyros Capralos, the Vice-President Stelios Angeloudis and the General Secretary Manolis Kolymbadis, while on the side of the H.A.P. the President of the H.O.P. Professor Odysseas – Ioannis Zoras, the Dean of the School of Social Sciences (School to which the "Sport Management" Program belongs), Professor Athanasios Michiotis, and Professor Nikos Theodorakis, Director of the Postgraduate Program of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (with internet connection) were present.
With the renewal of the Cooperation Protocol, the total provision of eight (8) Scholarships to students of the Postgraduate Program of Study, "Sport Management" (DATH), which is offered by the H.O.U. from the academic year 2020-2021, is foreseen.
Beneficiaries of the scholarships may be all interested parties who have an employment relationship, relevant to the cognitive field of the Postgraduate Program, with sports federations or their associations and sports bodies which are supervised by the Hellenic Olympic Committee.
The Cooperation Protocol has a duration of two academic years (four academic semesters of study), and starts from the spring semester of the academic year 2022-2023
