Danos and Angelis Ensigns of the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games

The ski champions Maria Danou and Apostolos Angelis will be the Ensigns of Greece at the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games "Beijing 2022", on Friday, February 4th.
For both athletes this will be the third participation in the Winter Olympics.
The Greek team for Beijing as a whole is: Apostolos Angelis, Maria Danou and Nefeli Tita, who will compete in the Endurance Races and Ioannis Antoniou and Maria Eleni Tsiovolou in Alpine Skiing.
The Greek delegation is also made up of coaches Timos Tsourekas, Christos Titas, Stergios Pappos and Alexandros Tsaknakis. The Head of Mission is the hoc member Demosthenes Gyrousis and the Deputy Head is the Technical Advisor of the HOC Stratos Caretos.
The Greek team departs for Beijing, via Paris, on the morning of Sunday, January 30, at 8.35
