The 10th Olympic Summit was completed, in which the top representatives of the Olympic movement took part online, under the chairmanship of Thomas Bach.
At the Olympic Summit, all the major issues about Olympism and sports worldwide were discussed and analyzed, with the conversation starting with the successful organization of the Tokyo Olympics and continuing with the preparations for the Winter Olympic Games "Beijing 2022".
Also discussed were issues related to the sports included in the program of the Olympic Games, the way of qualifications, the program of the next major sporting events, issues of anti-doping as well as proper governance in sports.
Among others, the Olympic Summit was attended by the four Vice-Presidents of the IOC and the members of the Executive Committee, representatives of the International Sports Federations, such as Sebastian Coe from World Athletics, Ziani Ifantino from FIFA, Hussein Al Musalalam from FINA and Norinari Watanabe from FIG, as well as representatives of the Associations of the National Olympic Committees, with Spyros Capralos representing Europe.
