Event on Civil Protection and People with Disabilities

The National Confederation of People with Disabilities (E.S.A.meA.), lead partner of the 4PLUS project, invites you to online information and awareness-raising event on the civil protection and the existing gaps and obstacles in the cross-border area between Greece and Albania for the people with disabilities and their families.

The event will be held via teleconference Zoom the Wednesday, December 8, 2021, between 10:00 and 12:30. Participation is free of charge. During the event there will be a sign language interpretation service.

The event is implemented within the framework of the project Public awareness, Preparedness, Participation and Coordination for Civil Protection for All, codenamed 4PLUS, which forms part of the Interreg IPA CBC Programme "Greece – Albania 2014-2020" and is co-financed by the European Union and by national funds of Greece and Albania.

No more illegal parking of vehicles on ramps for people with disabilities in Athens!

A total of 830 sensors were placed by the Municipality of Athens on ramps and crossings for people with special needs, to deal with antisocial parking.
