Announcement of the HOC Athletes' Committee on the new scholarships

The Committee of Athletes of the NAIS held an extraordinary meeting yesterday Sunday 14/11 after consultation with the President of the NAIS Spyros Capralos, to submit its proposal for the Olympic scholarships.

Always taking into consideration the equal and fair treatment of all our athletes, our proposal for the IOC Olympic Scholarships is that the already 11 selected athletes should also be added:

Those additional athletes who ranked up to 12th place in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, with no age limit that have sponsorship incomes of less than 12,000 euros per year.

The goal of all of us should be to help as many athletes as possible, so that they can prepare to the maximum extent possible, qualify and participate in the Olympic Games in Paris 2024 without discrimination, putting as a priority those who need it most.
