New international success of Stefanos Diamantis in Paralympic tennis!

And second title in a few 24 hours for Stefanos Diamantis. The Greek tennis player, team-mate Japan's Tokindo Oda, took the top spot in the MTA Open double hosted in Antalya, Turkey. For Diamantis this was the second double title in the space of a week, having also won the Mega Saray Open which was also held on Turkish soil (with teammate Austrian Legner).

In the final of the event, Diamantis/Onda defeated Flax/Legner (Austria & No-2 on the board) 6/2 6/3 and reached the trophy. On the way to the final, the two tennis players scored three victories, namely 6/1 6/3 over bin Yusuf/Borhan (Malaysia), 6/4 6/1 over Casco (Argentina)/Mesager (Spain) in the octet match and 6/1 6/4 over Arka (Italy)/ Vanlerberg (France) in the semi-finals. In the single, Diamantis made it to the semifinals. The course began with a victory in the Greek "civil war" over Giorgos Lazaridis with 6/2 6/0 and continued with victories over Spaniard Enrique Siskar Meseger (6/3 6/1) and on Legner (6/3 4/6 6/4). In the match for his entry into the final, the Greek tennis player was defeated 6/0 6/1 by Oda.
