IOC Webinars to promote women in sport

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) held in March the second series of Webinars on examples of initiatives that Olympic Movement bodies can implement to increase the number of female leaders in sport in line with olympic agenda 2020+5. The seminars were attended by International Federations, National Olympic Committees and National Federations and the participants reached 1850.

The three topics developed during the seminars were: (a) The participation/cooperation of men in gender equality programmes in organisations, (b) the creation of gender equality programmes in an organisation, and (c) initiatives to increase women in positions related to technical issues.
