Visit of Isidoros Kouvelos to the President of the Hellenic Republic

The President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou, received yesterday at the Presidential Palace, the president of the International Olympic Academy (IOC) Isidoro Kouvelo, who informed her about the renovation and upgrading of the facilities of the IA, in Ancient Olympia, which is done with the support of the International Olympic Committee.

Mr. Kouvelos referred in detail to the work of the IA, which over six decades has organized educational activities for more than 100,000 students, professors, researchers and friends of Olympia. For her part, the President of the Republic congratulated Mr. Kouvelos, pointing out the importance of the IA for the dissemination of Olympic Values and the development of Olympic Education.
