The Paralympian of Boccia Grigoris Polychronides at the sports club Megalonisos!

The sports association Meganisos welcomes to its potential one of the best Greek athletes with disabilities Grigoris Polychronides along with the accompanying athlete Katerina Patronis. We are very happy that they have chosen to continue their sporting career at our club. Grigoris Polychronides competes in the Vacmia event in the BC3 category with major distinctions in Paralympic, World and Pan-European championships and is the permanent Champion of Greece from 2002 until today in his category.

In his rich sporting collection he has won 4 Paralympic medals: Gold medal at London 2012 in the Pairs in the BC3 category. Silver medal in Rio 2016 in the Individual in category BC3. Silver medal in Beijing 2008 in the Individual in category BC3. Bronze medal in Rio 2016 at the Bc3 Pairs. Grigoris Polychronides and his accompanying athlete Katerina Patronis have dozens more medals in international competitions World and Pan-European championships, successes that have brought them to the top of the World rankings in the sport of Botsia. In view of the Paralympic games in Tokyo in 2021 they are a great hope for winning medals in both individual and couples for our country.
