The new documentary series "Deaf U", which chronicles the lives of a group of deaf students at Galonet University, the prestigious college for the deaf and hearing-impaired in Washington, USA, premiered on Netflix.
The series promises a "filterless, often unexpected look" at the deaf community, and according to at least the platform trailer, it achieves it. It is noted that Niall Di Marco, a model, actor and activist, who is congenitally deaf, is also involved in the production.
