New leadership for the Paralympic Committee of Europe

European Paralympic Committee (EPC) held its Conference and electoral General Assembly in Katowice, Poland. Voting members elected head of the Croatian Paralympic Committee Ratko Kovacic, as the new President of the Executive Board, Mr Terje Jentoft Roel from Norway as Vice-President, and five other board members.

The Assembly approved reports of outgoing Executive Board and warmly thanked the former President Mr John Petersson, Executive Board members and all commissions for outstanding performance during the last four period. Mr Petersson is leaving EPC after eight successful years of service and will continue his activity in International Paralympic Committee (IPC), being also a candidate for IPC President.
