A co-operation agreement between the Japanese Olympic Committee and the Dutch Olympic Committee has been signed in Lillehammer, in order to strengthen the relations of the two organisations. The two Committees will exchange marketing knowledge as well as information concerning the Olympic Movement.
Also, they will support officials, staff, its own athletes and coaches to promote exchange programmes and opportunities. The agreement will see the two National Olympic Committees share good practices in the lead-up to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games this summer. The signing ceremony was attended by JOC President Tsunekazu Takeda, also a member of the International Olympic Committee, and Dutch counterpart Andre Bolhuis.
