Greek Paralympians in progress!

For the Hellenic Paralympic team, the presence at the World Athletics Championship in Doha, was really successful.

The Greek athletes managed to raise our country at the 19th place among 96 participating countries and to maintain a high level in view of the Paralympic Games in Rio in few months.

The Greek team collected eight medals, three golds, two silvers and three bronzes. The record of gold medals is the second best for the Greek team after 2006 in Assen, Netherlands. In addition to the gold medals, our team captured two fourth, seven fifth, four sixth, four seventh and two eighth places, and secured four places (as a country) for the Paralympic Games of 2016.
