A great honor received by the National Olympic Academy of Greece, in the city of Baku in Azerbaijan. There, on October 7, two lead agencies, the International Committee of Fair Play (International Fair Play Committee - CIFP) and the European Movement for Fair Play (European Fair Play Movement - EFPM), awarded in the Hellenic Olympic Academy the international award «2015 Fair Play Plaque of Merit and Diploma» for the overall scientific - educational work done by spreading the Olympic values and the principles of fair play.
The prestigious award was presented to the president of NOA Mr. Isidoros Kouvelos, President of the European Fair Play Movement- EFPM Mr. Christian Hinterberger, presence of Sports Minister of Azerbaijan Azad Rahimov main while earlier had been a tribute to the educational work of the Academy of Olympic Education from the EFPM Secretary General. The reason for the award was the fourth National Educational Program "Day of Olympic Education", which conquered the Guinness World Record for the construction of the largest paper dove of peace, with the participation of over 45.000 students and teachers from all over Greece.
