Tomorrow, Tuesday, July 23, a memorandum of cooperation will be signed at the Rectorate of the Democritus University of Thrace between the Hellenic Paralympic Committee and the School of Physical Education and Sports Science of the Democritus University of Thrace.
The EPE will be represented by its President and Paralympic Gold Medalist George Kapellakis with the Paralympic champion and captain of the Paris 2024 Paralympic team Alexandros Taxildaris, while the Democritus University of Thrace will be represented by the Dean, Eleni Douda.
Taking into account the very important work of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee (EPE) in the field of continuous support for people with disabilities, the School of Physical Education and Sport Science assists EPE in the implementation of its objectives, through cooperation with the aim of promoting actions of sports – educational – research content in areas of common interest, with the main axis of enhancing the social inclusion of people with disabilities, supporting their families and raising awareness of the educational community on issues that concern them.
This is another action of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee towards the extroversion that characterizes it, with the aim of developing the Paralympic movement in Greece
