Opening of the European Wheelchair Fencing Championships in Paris

The host city of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Georges Carpentier Hall will host this year's European Wheelchair Fencing Championships, just five months before the big sporting date in 2024.

From next Tuesday (5/3) to Sunday (10/3), more than 100 fencers from 15 countries will duel in the Paris hall, who will try to win the title of European champion and qualify for the Paralympic Games. Among them are the three Greek athletes: Panos Triantafyllou, Vasilis Dounis and Georgia Kaltsi (the expenses of the first two are covered by EAOM-People with Disabilities and Georgia Kaltsi, its sponsor).
