Greek athletes won six medals at the Boccia World Cup, held in Heraklion, Crete, with the participation of 23 countries and the host Greece.
In the men's BC3 category, Grigoris Polychronidis (with ramp operator Katerina Patroni) won another gold medal, in a major event, undefeated. He defeated Slovak Boris Klona 5-2 in the final to climb to the top step of the podium.
Another gold was added to her collection by Golden Morfi Metzou, in the women's BC4 category, where in the final she defeated Alexandra Sambo, from Hungary with 4-2 and reached the top undefeated.
The Greek "civil war" in the men's BC1 category, won Dimitris Kyriakides, defeated Panagiotis Soulanis 5-4 and won the gold medal. Panagiotis Soulanis won the silver medal.
In the women's BC3 category, Anna Denta (with ramp operator Christina Deda) confirmed the title of favorite and won the bronze medal, after her comfortable victory in the "small" final, over France's Mathilde Trudet with 5-3.
In the women's BC2 category, Elizabeth Iosifidou after her match in the 5th round and with a total, 2 wins and 2 losses, won the bronze medal.
