World gold medal for the Greek Paralympic javelin thrower Manolis Stefanoudakis!

Penultimate day of the World Athletics Championships in Paris and our country won its third medal and second gold in the event.
Manolis Stefanoudakis in the final of the javelin throw (F54) with a throw of 29.17m, in his last attempt, improved his performance this year and climbed to the highest step of the podium.
The silver medal was won by Slovak Ladislav Kučran with a throw of 28.94m. and in 3rd place the Indian Abicek Chamoli with a throw at 24.16m.
Stefanoudakis' shots in order were: 25.46m, 28.61m, 28.62m, 28.80m, 28.70m, 29.17m.
With Stefanoudakis' medal, our country has secured five places for next year's Paralympic Games in Paris, while three more Greek athletes remain to compete.
