In the 72.6km C2 race in Huntsville, the 6th Tokyo Paralympic champion finished 3rd in 1:47:51 with all the big names present. The winner was France's Alexandre Lotte in 1:44.22 and Belgium's Egund Vromat won the silver medal in 1:47:40.
In the individual time trial he managed to enter the top 6, finishing in 5th place.
