Pre-election debate and election night in sign language!

ERT is also close to people with hearing and speech impairments during the election period.

In fact, for the first time, it is going to broadcast in Greek sign language, both the debate, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, and the election night on May 21, 2023. The broadcast will be broadcast on the frequency of ERT3. Also, the same channel will broadcast sign language, election day, and short news bulletins on current election news.

It is reminded that public television helps to inform people with hearing and speech impairments on a daily basis. ERTNEWS, the new 24-hour news channel of ERT, broadcasts 5-minute news bulletins in sign language three times a day (13:00, 18:00, 22:00), while from the same frequency, every Wednesday at 11:30, a special insert for people with disabilities is broadcast.

Through the bulletins and special inserts, aspects of their daily lives are highlighted, as well as information actions on their rights and the fight against exclusion and discrimination.
