Tree planting on Sunday in Ancient Olympia

Another voluntary tree planting will take place on Sunday, March 5, on the fire-stricken hill of Galani in Ancient Olympia, in an effort to help the regeneration of burnt forest areas from the 2021 fire.

The tree planting is carried out jointly by the Municipality of Ancient Olympia, the Forest Service of Pyrgos and the voluntary organization "All Together We Can". The above bodies invite the collectives of the area (naturalistic – cultural – sports clubs), the citizens, the students and anyone else who wishes to participate in the tree planting to be at 10 in the morning of Sunday on the hill of Galani for the start of the works.
