Gold medal for the Greek goalball team in an International tournament in Thessaloniki

On the highest step of the podium climbed the Men's National Golbol Team in the International tournament, which was completed at the EAK Stavroupolis in Thessaloniki. The tournament was organized by A.S. Blind Hephaestus, with Greece participating with the Men's National Golf Team, which recently won the silver medal in the European Second Division.

In total, six teams participated in the tournament together with our country, with the Romanian national team and four clubs (Zora from the Czech Republic, Baalvik from the Netherlands, Alsula from Jordan and the organizer Hephaestus). Present at the event was the second vice president of EAOM-People with Disabilities Stefanos Fasias.

With 4 wins and one defeat - in goal - for the Group, the Men's National Team competed in the final of the international tournament with Alsula, from Jordan, from which they had lost in the Group match 13-12. In the final, however, they beat Jordan 5-4 and won the gold medal.
