The sailor, Aris Rapanakis, who had made history at the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980 by winning the bronze medal together with Tasos Boudouris and Tasos Gavrilis in Soling, passed away.

The sad news of the death of Aris Rapanakis was made known by the Piraeus Sailing Club IOP.
