The celebration of the National Paralympic Day in Iran

The 15th National Paralympic Day, an annual festival aimed at stimulating the culture of Para-sport, was held in all cities of Iran on Sunday, October 16. The festival is inscribed on the Iranian calendar and encourages all cities across the country to dedicate the day to children and people with disabilities. More than 60,000 participants, representing 31 provinces, are estimated to have celebrated this event in 2022.

Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) President Majid Rashed was at Tehran's 12,000-capacity Azadi indoor stadium to watch thousands of people with disabilities gather to play and celebrate the sports.
