On Wednesday, June 15, the celebrations of the "Olympic Day" took place in Paphos. This year's events, which were dedicated in memory of the former President of the JIT Dinos Michaelides, were co-organized by the Cyprus Olympic Committee with the Municipality of Pafos, and it is the first time that these events were organized outside Nicosia. Co-organizer of the Road Race, the start of which was given in Kennedy Square by the President of the JIT Georgios Chrysostomou and the Mayor of Paphos Phaedon Phaedonos was the Runners' Association "Pericles Demetriou". Present were among others the Vice President of the KOE Yiotis Ioannidis, the Member of the Board Georgios Papageorgiou, the staff of the JIT, the Municipal Councilor of Pafos Georgios Tselepos, staff of the Municipality of Pafos, and the Vice President of SKOK Lenos Kyriakou. The presence of the people who responded to the call of the JIT and the Municipality of Pafos was massive, as well as a large number of runners who took part in the races.
