Xanthi, the multicultural city of Greece, was visited by a team of the International Olympic Truce Center with the educational program of sports for social inclusion.
The educational program began with the recommendation of the Director of the IKOE Konstantinos Filis for the Olympic Truce.
Then the students had the opportunity to participate in sports events with the Paralympic swimmer Alexandros Taxildaris, the national team athlete Botsia Spyros Dantanidis, the Olympic archery champion Fotini Vavatsi, the Olympic basketball champion Lefteris Kakiousis and the laser run trainer Voula Arnaoutidou. The training program is coordinated by DKOE Deputy Director Dora Palli. Many thanks to the director of the school Pericles Kalogiannis, the teacher Michalis Tsirambidis and the trainer Thanasis Kroustallis for the very warm hospitality.
