Cooperation of the International Olympic Academy with the Olympic Academy of Saudi Arabia

In the context of the restructuring of the International Olympic Academy, the adoption of joint training programs with the National Olympic Academies worldwide has been implemented. Such a development will strengthen the role of the National Academies not only at the national level but throughout the Olympic map.

In this regard, the IOA proceeded to launch a new synergy with the Saudi Olympic Academy, which was reactivated in December 2021, under the Chairmanship of Prince Fahad Bin Jalawi Al Saud and the management of the CEO, Ali Oun Alzaid.

The DOA delegation, consisting of its President Isidoros Kouvelos, Dionysis Gangas, advisor to the President, and Alexandra Karaiskou, responsible for the National Olympic Academies worldwide, was present in Riyadh from 16 to 18 March, in order to consolidate the steps. for the development of Olympic Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
