The 4th International Festival "The Reflection of Disability in Art " successfully completed

On Friday, December 10, 2021, the 4th International Festival "Reflection of Disability in Art" with the acronym iRoDi was completed with great success, which this year was held online due to the pandemic.

The festival's rich program included the screening of 42 films by Greek and foreign productions, speeches, musical events and artistic events. During the festive Closing Ceremony of the Festival, the winners of the Competition Section of the Film as follows:

1) INNER ME of Antonio Spanò (Italy)

2) ASAK of Mahdi Zamanpour Kiasari (Islamic Republic of Iran)

3) Born to dance with an extra chromosome: the drag queens (and kings) with Down’s syndrome” of Nikolay Nikolov (United Kingdom)

The Audience Award received the motion picture: HOW TO TRAIN AN ANTIHERO of Ioannis Bletas (Greece) and the Students' Award received the film:A SON LIKE OTHERS of Franc Planas (Portugal).

The Jury of the Festival's Film Competition Section consisted of: Georgia Fyka, Eleni Androutsopoulou, Matjaz Debevc, Stratis Hadjielenoudas and Tsakiris Maria.

Also, during the Closing Ceremony, the awards for the Music Composition Competition. The Prize is given to Mr. Kzounia Michalis for his work "Walk" and an honorary award is given to the Mr Kapageridis for his work "Wave".

The members of the Jury of the Competition Music Composition Department were: Stamou Leda, Vouvaris Petros, Zarias Giannis, Athanasiadou Fani, and Kourtparasidis Elias.

Within a week, the 4ο International Festival "The Reflection of Disability in Art" Actors, directors, speakers, volunteers and spectators participated equally in cultural events in order to demonstrate art through the perspective of the disabled. The organizing committee of the Festival would like to warmly thank the audience and all those who contributed to this event and renews its appointment for the coming year with even more actions and film screenings.
